About Dr Ashok

Dr Ashok D Borisa is practising Laparoscopic and Gastrointestinal surgeon since past 20 years. He has done his MBBS from prestigious Grant Medical college and sir J J Group of Hospitals and Masters of Surgery M.S from TN Medical college, BYL Nair Hospital.

After post graduation he has worked as Assistant Professor and later as Associate professor in Division GI/HPB Surgery, Department of General Surgery, Grant Medical College & Sir J.J.Group of Hospitals, Mumbai

At present working as consultant in GI and Laparoscopic surgery at Fortis Hospital in kalyan since 2011.

  • Awarded by Government of Maharashtra for outstanding contribution in Management of Mumbai terror attack victims on 26th Nov./2008.
  • Awarded the 1st prize for the Best poster (Central ameloblastoma of Mandible), at MASICON 2010, Solapur.
